Cadee McCoid is a junior at GHS and this is her third year with Gretna Media. She serves as a co-editor. She is involved in journalism because she wants to share her ideas and thoughts with her fellow students and staff. Her favorite pieces to write are news and feature. Outside of journalism, she likes to watch movies and hang out with friends.

Free Books! GHS librarian Ms. Kari Bulgrin set up a cart for students to choose books to take home for the summer. When students need more books over the summer, they should come to the library during their summer hours. Stop into the library to find out those hours and remember plants are friends. “Dont forget to bring any live plants home over the summer as well otherwise they will not survive the summer in your room,” Mr. Brunswig said. “ I learned that the hard way last summer.”

Still our champs! Buttons were given to all of the teachers at GHS to show support for the varsity football team. Although the title was taken and the games were forfeited, the community stands behind the hard work fo the football players.
