Future Business Leader: Member of FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), Karlee Lobsiger (21), wears a shirt featuring the clubs name wrapped around an American flag. In March, we go to a state tournament and compete by taking a test, Lobsiger said. We also do fundraising such as flower and butter braid sales. Each month, FBLA club members come together to discuss business and leadership opportunities.

Its just a fun time, this is my fourth year doing it, so I thought I would do it one more time. Connolly helped with different things all morning.

Creative With Color 
Working on the sketchbook project during class, Basic Art student Molly Boker (23) colors leaves that she drew. “The sketchbooks are for everyone to create their own ideas based off a small prompt like the 3 cartoon/animations and make them scary and ugly sketchbook,” Boker (23) said. “My favorite sketchbook so far is drawings about food and the 3 things we’re excited about for fall.” Four sketchbook projects have been assigned.

What A Relief: It was so relieving and exciting when I got to finally sign, Mackenzie Devine (21) said. I chose Missouri Western because it had everything I wanted. I liked that it was only two hours from Omaha and an hour from Kansas City. I felt super welcome when I first visited there and it also had the program I wanted to study.
