As the cars started to line up the lights started to light up at 8:20. “It was really awesome to see, so many people showed up,” Kinsey Johnson (20) said. “It made me feel really special that our school did that for us.” Many seniors and their families drove around it a circle of the back parking lot to show the seniors how special they really are.

Staying Healthy: At Zorinsky lake, a sign towards the entrance of the lake shows a list of social distancing guidelines in both the Spanish and English language. In order to be practicing proper social distancing, lake users must avoid gathering in groups of 10, using the public playground and being in another persons 6 feet of space.

Peoples Postcards; My mom came and told us that we should participate in this Project Lift Up for her work, senior Maeya Gydesen said. We wrote out heartfelt messages to residents in assisted living homes to put in goodie bags for them, and then the pharmacy took them to all of their assisted living homes to brighten the residents day and make them feel better during this crazy unknown time.
