Decorating Around GHS

Descriptions of Teachers’ Classrooms For Students to Vote On

Ms. Pape’s Classroom
Alise Pape teaches American History Since 1900 to her freshmen students. So understandably, Pape’s room is decorated with an American theme throughout. Hanging on the walls is a tapestry with a map of the United States, American flags and posters of American music from the 1900s. The desks in her room are arranged in a way that leaves the middle floor completely open for the students to participate in activities that involve them moving around the room.

Ms. Bennett’s Classroom
Mary Bennett is a teacher in the English Department. Her room is decorated with Christmas lights hanging from the ceiling throughout the entire space, an accent wall with brick wallpaper and fake plants throughout. She also has picture frames on the walls and bookshelves with more brick wallpaper. There are also little decorations on each shelf to go with the books.

Ms. Long’s Classroom
Ms. Long is also a teacher in the English Department. She has her room decorated with colorful lights hanging from the ceiling, tapestries and posters on the walls and paper balls on the ceiling. There are many other miscellaneous colorful decorations throughout.

Ms. Berube’s Classroom
Brooke Berube is a teacher in the English Department. The theme of her room is based on the “Harry Potter” series, with tapestries of bookshelves, lettering as seen in the books and movies and flags that correspond with the houses. Along with the “Harry Potter” decorations, there are also fake plants around her bookshelves and Christmas lights hanging from the ceiling.
