The popular attraction of fall, Scary Acres, isn’t as scary as it is set out to be. This frequently visited fall activity appeals to people of all ages around the spooky season, but in my opinion, this annual event is a “one and done” type of place.
Going to Scary Acres for the first time was a great experience, don’t get me wrong, but the second visit wasn’t nearly as exciting as the first since you already no what everything is and where they plan to scare you, so it doesn’t give you that fun adrenaline rush that people go there for. There are three total attractions, and they are supposed to be ranked on scare level, but to be honest, they all seem the same. The first time that I went, it was a blast, but the second, not so much because I already knew all of the scares that they planned to do.Â
They provide concessions there, but it is a small selection, and it’s not very appetizing either. Their tickets range from $11 to $15 per person, depending on which house you choose to visit, but if you would like to visit all three, it is $35 per person. I wouldn’t say it is really worth my $35 again, but I do believe if you would like to just see what it’s all about, I say go for it.
In my opinion, Blood Rush is a better haunted house attraction because the actors have more dedication to their roles and are just better in general. Also, it is overall just scarier. So if you are planning on visiting a haunted house, I would definitely try out Blood Rush before Scary Acres.Â
