Abby Turpen is a senior at GHS it is her first year with Gretna Media. She serves as a
photographer and the social media manager. She enjoys journalism because she likes taking
photos and getting to share information. Her favorite thing to do for Gretna Media is take
pictures. Besides journalism she is apart of one act and is the dance team manager.

Winter Sports Senior Night

"I was feeling super grateful to be cheering on the Dragons at the first football game of the season," senior Ava Reiser said.

"I was just thankful to be there and support my school and be with my team," freshmen Melrose Mixan said.

"I was happy and nervous. It was moments before the game had started and I couldn't believe I was about to dance on Memorial field," freshmen Sloane Bailey said. "I was nervous because I knew the game could go either way, but I was hoping for a Gretna win."

"I felt happy because I love getting to dance with some of my favorite people," sophomore Zoey Bowling said.

"I felt excitement being able to perform again at the Memorial Stadium," senior Kaiya Moyer said. "Being a senior it was definitely a night to remember seeing the team play at state for one more time and being able to dance with my girls on the field with the crowd."

"I felt overly excited and enthusiastic about our football team at state," freshmen Brooke Hamele said. "I was living in the moment with my favorite people on the sidelines, which made it all the better."

"I was feeling ready to perform the dance I had taught all the first graders," senior Molly Zeleny said. "I was excited because the dance they learned was cute and fun and I knew the parents would enjoy it."

"I was feeling the adrenaline and suspense of the game," senior Holly Cobb said. "I was watching closely, ready to cheer loud for the team's next move. This was another unforgettable game that I am so happy to have been apart of."
