Omaha Fashion Week (OFW) is an event that hundreds attend, and it gives opportunities to those who want to be a model or a designer. Seniors Camryn Podany, Abby Turpen, Ali Wiseman, Mia Bowling and a few others from Gretna High School participated in the event the last week of August.

OFW is fun, upbeat and an experience to remember. Top designers create pieces of clothing as well as choose models to show off their items. Ali Wiseman has been doing OFW since she was five years old and has done it every year since.

“The designers I have gotten to meet and work with are super cool and talented,” she said. Wiseman also said she has enjoyed making new friends and meeting models from all over the country. The event has created a community of lifelong friendships and has formed many careers along the way.
