One Act Prepares for EMC, District Performances

First Showing of ‘The Drowsy Chaperone’ Set for Sunday

Gretna High School’s One Act team has been preparing  the past two months to perform and compete with the  “The Drowsy Chaperone.” The students will perform for the local community this Friday at the high school. The only cost to attend is a voluntary offering of money or food items for the Gretna Neighbors Food Pantry. This production — a musical comedy — showcases the talent, dedication and energy of students.

  • Friday, Nov. 24, at 7 p.m. (Gretna High School)
  • Saturday, Nov. 25, at 5:30 p.m. (EMC Tournament Performance, Lincoln Northwest, 4901 W Holdrege St., Lincoln, NE)

She is involved in journalism because she likes to write and it is fun to be able to write about things going on in school. Her favorite things to write about are the arts and sports news. Outside of school she participates in golf, tennis, show choir and many others activities.
