Members of the Gretna American Legion Post 216 carry U.S. and Nebraska state flags and rifles to represent their post during the Gretna Days Grand Parade.
This summer’s Gretna Days marked the 65th year of celebration, where community members, high school programs and local businesses were brought together from July 23 to 27 at various events. While the span of days had high temperatures and a heat advisory warning, outdoor events like the Grand Parade and Hillcrest SilverRidge Hot Dog Feed were both well attended.
